We are looking forward to working with you and your children as we grow in faith and love of Jesus!

As a faith formation program, we share and reinforce the truth that God desires a personal relationship with each one of us! We grow and nourish that relationship throughout our lives. We live out our faith together through friendship, learning, service and prayer.

Daily prayer and weekly Mass attendance as a family is a gift parents give to their child as they grow and nurture a lifelong faith and love of Jesus in their child.

As a Parish, we are here to assist in the formation of your child’s faith. As parents you are the main teacher of faith for your children, our catechists are caring volunteers who assist and add to your teaching of our faith. Our volunteers do not replace your teaching but reinforce what you teach and share with your children at home.

What is taught in religion class is learned only if it is lived at home, it is essential that you continue to keep Jesus at the center of your lives. We ask that you regularly attend Mass with your children to develop a strong spiritual connection to their classroom learning.

About our Program

The Faith Formation program is open to all children in kindergarten through 10th grade. Weekly class attendance is important because that's where children have the opportunity to share and grow in their faith and knowledge of Catholicism. Our dedicated teachers excel at preparing the children for the sacraments of Reconciliation (grade 2) and First Communion (grade 3). Our program places an emphasis on including family in the preparation and celebration of these wonderful moments in their children's lives.

Confirmation preparation is a two-year program in grades 9 and 10. It is through this program that we engage students to become active in their faith journey as they grow into young adults. Students will complete a total of 20 service hours: 10 hours in grades 8 and 10 more hours in grade 9; service in both the parish and local community are encouraged.
